Even some giants of blogging industry can't answer exactly when to apply adsense ads to your blog. Some says in starting 6 months you should not apply any ads to your blogs. - Visitors : No. of visitors is the main factor which tells you when to apply ads to your blog. Thier is no benefit of applying ads to your blog if you don't have sufficient visitors (We are talking about 'pay per click' ads). Therefore first of all concentrate on quality of your contents and built your permanent traffic (Permanent traffic not means returning visitor, it means daily high traffic). First of all apply google analytic (Know exactly when you should add analytic to your blog) and then get complete information of your traffic and apply adsense or other ads to your blog when you start getting daily 500 unique visitors. But you can add affliated ads to your blog when you starts to get daily 300 unique visitors but you have to encourage your visitors to buy products of your affliates.
- Search Engine Optimization : As we say that visitors are the main source of analyzing when to apply ads to your blog, but these other sources are also very important to keep in mind otherwise they can effect your earning if you have apply ads. You should make your blog SEO friendly first, so that you can get search engine traffics of goole and yahoo. Otherwise if you have only permanent visitors via other sources and they are clicking on your adsense ads again and again, then adsense can disapprove your account permanently. So first built your unique visitors source from search engines by making your blog Search Engine Optimized.
- Followers : Permanent visitors are the backbone of your blog and they are also the source of new visitors to your blog. Hence try to make a large no. of followers of your blog via facebook fan page of your blog, twitter, google plus, RSS and other resources. And till you don't have a good no. of followers atleast total 200 via all resources, I will recommend not to add adsense ads to your blog, because first of all you need to get traffic and loyal followers.
- Alexa Ranking : Directly alexa ranking has no connection to determine when to apply ads to your blog. But indirectly alexa is a ranking system which tells where you stand in online competitive market. First you should get alexa ranking below 5 lakh. because it is a good ranking to tell you that you have build some online reputation. You should not apply ads to your blog before achieving atleast this rank, otherwise it will reduce your blog's professional image and will reduce interest of your visitors in your blog.
- Content Quality : Why a visitor should come to your blog? Are you providing qualitative contents? If not, then don't hope that a visitor will come back to your blog or a search engine will send you traffic. And till now if you are not providing quality contents than first of all concentrate on that instead of applying for ads. And believe me you will get benefit of it very soon.
- Terms & Conditions : You should read all terms and conditions of a advertise provider. And should check that is your blog is full filling all of them? If not, then this is not time to applying ads. First make your blog capable of full filling all basic conditions. Otherwise you are wasting your time in applying for ads and they can disapprove your account any time.

They have very much importance in your blogging career. Interlinks depends on two things : (i) Quantity of contents on your blog (ii) Your skill of interlinking your posts. First of all create a network of interlinks so that your visitor remains on your blog for more time until going out. And if visitor is for more time than ads are creating impression n the visitors mind and forcing him mentally to click on the advertises. So first of all create a good interlinking network for your blog. - Proper Design : Just full filling all above criterion does not mean that you should apply for advertises now and start earning money. After achieving this position you need to design your blog for advertises (making proper spaces for advertises). Putting advertises here and there can irritate your visitor. So fix advertise spaces cleverly before applying advertises.
- Have your blog build up Reputation : Just in simple words, you should not apply for ads before earning a reputation. This is the psychological point to keep in mind before applying for ads. Because if your blog does not have good reputation than putting ads can discourage your visitors to open your blog. If ads are making more impression than your blog's contents than you should remove ads because people will stop to coming on your blog. Because they are coming for contents, not for ads. Hence before applying ads to your blog, build reputation of your blog.
- Learn from Bloggers : Make good relations with other bloggers who are already established and earning money from their blogs. They will be the practical answers for your answers. Because they have earned experience of all these type of questions in the starting of their blogging career. Atleast create a good relationship with one pro blogger, so that he can guide you properly.
