Apple has been agreed to refund money to New iPad buyers in Australia who are not satisfied by the New iPad 4G. A report said that today, Apple agreed on this issue to a group of people in Australia. What is the whole matter: Insights
The new iPad is not compatible with existing Australian 4G network. In Australia 4G providers are LTE & WiMax which provides 4G on different frequencies from Apple New iPad’s compatibility. Australian 4G network operates on 18000MHz, but Apple New iPad operates on frequencies 700 MHz and 2100 MHz's. Many people in Australia bought New iPad on the basis of Apple advertisement which is advertising new device as “Wi+fi + 4G”. Due to this Apple get a Complaint from Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

ACCC ordered Apple to refund the people who misled due to company’s wrong advertisement. I reply Apple has been agreed to edit its advertisement from all its promotional spaces to new "This product supports very fast cellular networks. It is not compatible with current Australian 4G LTE networks and WiMAX Networks." In addition ACCC also said that Apple will also e-mail to its all customers with the same statement and will give them option of getting their money back. It will be a big relief to all New iPad buyers in Australia who bought the product due to its 4G feature.
